LEADERSHIP Director Bags 2 Awards In A Week — Leadership Newspaper


Yet to recover from the euphoria of the first award he bagged, LEADERSHIP Director, Solomon Nda-isaiah, has added another feather to his cap by the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (ICAD), a human capital development organisation dedicated to providing practical solutions to complex business needs by involving high calibre professionals from all sectors who are continually committed to the search for improvement strategies and implementation of global best practices.

At its Administrative Professionals’ Day held in Abuja with 24 administrators emerging Fellows at the days event, is one of the directors, LEADERSHIP Group Limited, Solomon Nda-Isaiah. Others are manager, news and current affairs, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) headquarters, Abuja, Lydia Odije Ochi, marketing officer, NTA headquarters, Abuja, Rachael Ayeni and others were all honoured.
In an interview with Solomon Nda-Isaiah, he said this is the second award he has received in less than a week adding that, “the reward for hard work is more work. I appreciate the organisers of the event and everyone present here.”

Speaking to journalists, the director, chief learning officer, ICAD, Dr Godswill C Onyekwere, stated that the Institute, which also awarded four Icons and inducted six members, has expanded professional intelligence and built up a solid database.
He added that the alliances and affiliation are aimed at achieving top ranking as provider of affordable executive training adapted to specific needs as a developing nation operating in a global economy.

Onyekwere noted that the organisation, which is propelled by administrative professionals on day to day basis, makes sure offices are efficient.
According to him, “the aim of the administrative professionals’ day is for administrators to sit and rub minds, find out the challenges they face and proffer solutions to it.”
An awardee, Lydia Odije Ochi, in her remarks, expressed gratitude to ICAD for finding her worthy for the recognition and award.
“I wasn’t expecting it, but I see it as a call to do better and a recognition for hard work,” she said.
