Cabinet allocates Hr 11 million to help families of six dead and 23 disabled soldiers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated about Hr 10.7 million to provide one-time cash assistance to the families of six people killed and 23 disabled during participation in Donbas war.

According to resolution No. 965 of December 20, the funds were allocated to the Social Policy Ministry from the reserve fund of the state budget. The Social Policy Ministry was instructed to submit before December 27 a report on the use of the allocated funds to the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, the Finance Ministry and the State Treasury Department.

Thus, the families of six victims will be paid Hr 4.343 million (assistance is paid in the amount of 500 living wages for the able-bodied at the date of death). The families of those disabled, depending on the disability group, will get Hr 421,000 (one person, first disability group, 250 living wages for the able-bodied), Hr 1.894 million (six people, second disability group, 200 living wages), and Hr 4.04 million (16 people, third disability group, 150 living wages).
