Bandits stars join CPBL HR derby | Australian Baseball League News

The Australian Baseball League is proud to announce Brisbane Bandits stars Logan Wade and Andrew Campbell will participate in the 2018 Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) home run derby, further strengthening the Bandits ties with Taiwanese professional baseball.

Following the Bandits’ ownership announcement this morning, both Wade and Campbell have accepted invitations to join the CPBL’s home run derby on July 8.

The Bandits have had a long and prosperous relationship with Taiwanese baseball and the CPBL, with Taiwanese megastar Lin Chih-sheng playing a major role in Brisbane’s third consecutive ABL Championship.

Logan Wade has been a constant in the Bandits lineup for the past six seasons, and is relishing the opportunity to participate in the home run derby.

“I couldn’t be happier to compete in the CPBL’s home run derby,” Wade said.

“I’m happy and grateful to represent Australian baseball and can’t wait to be a part of their culture.”
